Online course “The Pandemic and Discrimination”
This four-week online course aims to provide understanding and training on the great challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic presents for migrants, refugees and displaced people in an environment of vulnerability, discrimination and xenophobia.
Experts in mobile populations and in mental health from the U.S., Mexico and Central America will offer presentations every Wednesday in May from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (PT).
It is directed to community health workers, community leaders, migrant shelter workers, activists, human rights defenders and people from the public service.
The course will be taught in Spanish and is free of charge. Certificate of Participation will be provided to those who attend all 4 sessions.
