Latest On The Covid-19 in Nigeria

The spread of the novel Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) in Nigeria has kept on recording quick increment as the most recent insights gave by the Nigeria Center to Disease Control demonstrated that there are 2,950 affirmed cases.

On the fifth of May 2020, 148 new affirmed cases and 5 passings were recorded in Nigeria. Till date, 2950 cases have been affirmed, 481 cases have been released and 98 passings have been recorded in 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The 148 new cases are accounted for from 17 states, inclusive the most recent numbers which is jsut beside the 2 column of the chart below.

In a transition to battle the spread of the pandemic illness, President Muhammadu Buhari coordinated the discontinuance of all developments in Lagos and the FCT for an underlying time of 14 days, which produced results from 11 pm on Monday, 30th March 2020.
